Why figs explain our entire philosophy
Because a fig perfectly explains how we think travel should work - and it just happens to grow like mad where we are.
A fig tree is resilient. It thrives where other things struggle.
A fig is nutritious. Good for you. Good for the people around you.
A fig tree creates shade, gathers people together and gives back to its community.
And when the fresh figs are gone, the goodness doesn't disappear. It becomes jam or a dried fig and lasts all year.
Most of you sell just fresh figs in the summer - Sun. Yacht. Dalmatia. Repeat.
BUT when the fresh figs are gone, the goodness doesn't disappear. It can become a jam/cookie or a dry to be enjoyed all year.
That's exactly how we see Croatian Istria, Slovenia and Northern Italy.
Truffle hunting in Istria. Family vineyards. Slovenian alpine villages glowing in autumn colours. Italian mountain roads winding through the Dolomites.
